This month we give it up for xOdinsNemesisx! Odin's passion for creating helpful guides and sharing strategies throughout the community has not gone unnoticed. Thank you for nominating him this month, and venture forth to catch his favorite tips for War Dragons.

What is your current level, team, and league?

[A]: I am Level 155 in the game and an officer on FieryRiver! We’re currently placed in the Sapphire league.

When did you start playing War Dragons?

[A]: I started playing War Dragons in the beginning of May last year.

What led you to sticking with the game?

[A]: I’ve never experienced the team aspect of War Dragons in another game before. It’s extremely unique and keeps me coming back!

Your friend, Hannah, nominated you for this month's Dragon Lord Spotlight! She credits you with getting her into the game and she now spends a lot of time playing with her husband.
We love that you have been bringing people together! We've also seen and enjoyed many of the videos you've created about the game.

What motivated you to get your YouTube channel started?

[A]: When I started looking for a War Dragons presence on YouTube I didn't really find many active YouTubers other than iStefa and Iman, so I thought I might as well add some of my personal experience to the community! It’s been a lot of fun, and I am glad I’ve been able to share some of the things I’ve learned during my time in the game.

What are your top three most favorite videos you've created and can you tell us a little about them?

[A]: My channel is a little different! It is based on tips and strategies and not really gameplay, so these top videos are also based on the feedback and the effectivness of these videos helping others learn a little about the game.

War Dragons: Fortification Event Tips & Tricks

This video is probably my favorite just because it has a lot of tips including some of my personal ways to get easy points in the Fortification Frenzy event. I also got a lot of people saying it’s helped them so that is why this video is probably my favorite.

War Dragons: FAQ About Runes Answered! (Tengu, Tarand, and more)

This video is all about Runes and covers many frequently asked questions about this system. It covers the types of runes on the newer divine dragons as well as some random issues people have asked me about. This video was requested by a ton of people in the group chats I participate in, so they’ve had a lot of influence on it. If you also have questions about Runes, this video is for you!

 War Dragons - Event Runs and Q&A

This wasn't a standard video, but a three-hour live stream! I have heard that people are enjoying live streams and honestly live streaming is the most fun playing the game I have had in a long time. I do tons of base reviews, flying dragons some people want to see but don't have, and just answering questions while playing the game. This probably was one of the best live streams I have done.

If someone enjoys your work, what are some good ways they can help support your endeavors?

[A]: Just watching my content and giving it a thumbs up when it is good, and a thumbs down when it is not that helpful. I base everything I do on the feedback, both good and bad. You’re also welcome to join a group chat that I have! They are extremely active with 100 people in one and 20 in another. Please also send me suggestions through in-game mail and/or YouTube comments. I look at every single comment on all my videos so I will see it if you post it.

Let's chat a bit about your in-game experience!

What have been some of your favorite moments in War Dragons so far?

[A]: I say it in so many of my videos but one of my favoirte moments was when I got Nightshade. This has been the dragon I use for everything! He is a beast, and with good flying, can take out bases with 111M defense power when he is only at 15M power. I’ve also been enjoying talking with the community and my viewers in the group chats I run. The amount of encouragement I’ve received is insane and it really makes me want to do more content.

Out of all the various things to do in the game, such as collecting dragons, building up a powerful base, forming powerful guilds, ect., what is your favorite aspect and why? 

[A]: My team is unique and there have been some rough spots, but being part of a team like FieryRiver makes the experience so much more enjoyable. Seeing a team grow as we gain more players, especially when you have been an officer for so long, is a really good feeling. The biggest joke in War Dragons is when the start-up screen says, "Don't give other players personal information," as I literally know almost everything about the other players on my team. They’re like extended family. :)

What are some of the standout personalities you like to play with?

[A]: People who don't get frustrated too fast when playing the game and are willing to help out a teammate when they need the support. I also enjoy flying with people who are willing to help others with information when needed. That is the reason why I made the chat groups!

What are your current goals within War Dragons?

[A]: I am working on Apophet and am a quarter of the way to that 1000 fragment dragon. My next medal milestone is 30mil. I’m currently at 24.4mil, so I’m getting there.

What do you spend your time with when you're not playing War Dragons?

[A]: I am a Lego Designer! I design Lego mosaics for a living and I actually gave away a Lego mosaic of Algor (6 feet by 6 feet) for a giveaway. I spend most of my time doing that for different clients.

[A]: Abaraxxas because he looks insane just cosmetically. I can't get him since I am trying my best to get the mythic hunter this season. I am hoping the hunters are good...
