August's Dragon Lord Spotlight - Gary72

This month we’re shining the spotlight on the player with the LONGEST STREAK OF WAR PARTICIPATIONGary72 from Dreadnought!

Gary72 has participated in over 550 consecutive wars, going back to early days of War Dragons when it launched last year. He has proven to be one of the most reliable teammates in War Dragons, so please join us in celebrating this incredible feat and check out his interview below!

When did you start playing War Dragons?

[A]: About a year ago, my 5-year-old son downloaded the game. He’s not allowed on anymore, hah!

What is your current level, guild, and league? What role do you have in your guild?

[A]: Level 120, Dreadnought and in Diamond. My role in the guild is the same as all the others: to be a team player and be part of the best guild.

Did you realize you have the longest streak of wars out of every player in the game?

OVER 550 IN A ROW. How does that make you feel!?

[A]: I didn't realize, but it makes me feel honored to be part of the best guild in the game. Dreadnought is the Number 1 team because there are not 50 individuals, but just one great, big, fun family.

How long have you been with DREADNOUGHT and how did you become a part of the team?

[A]: I joined when I was Level 13. They gave me a chance when I was below the minimum level because a friend referred me and Ed, the founder of Dreadnought, was a genuine good guy. Hopefully I’ve repaid them for taking the chance on me.

What keeps you coming back to play every day?

[A]: My team. They are an awesome bunch, past and present members.

We're introducing War Defenses to be the factor in determining the winning team in the event of a tie.

What other changes to Wars do you think would make the system even better?

[A]: Having a limit for the amount of attacks a person can make. This could stop the one-man bands from tying wars.

Dreadnought is one great, big, fun family.

Do you have any advice for players seeking to fly their dragons more strategically?

[A]: Haha, yes. Watch the replays after Dread hits you. ;) In all seriousness, watching replays can really help you figure out where your defenses are lacking. You can also figure out what dragons are hitting your base most often and lay out your base to exploit their weaknesses.

What dragon are you going to be targeting in the next breeding event?

[A]: I’m currently working on Platinum Legendary dragons. Rizar would be killer to have.

What are your current goals within War Dragons?

[A]: My goal has always been supporting my teammates and to continue to be part of an awesome team.

Who is your favorite non-DREADNOUGHT player in War Dragons?

[A]: Daz in Siege. He’s a top guy in game and in real life. No matter what, he is there to help in-game and will always do something to make you laugh if you’re feeling down.

What other games do you enjoy playing?

[A]: Other games? I don’t have time for those!

When you're not playing War Dragons, what else do you love to do in your free time?

[A]: The best times are spent with my son. :)

Lastly.... Would you rather fight 100 duck-sized horses or 1 horse-sized duck?

Why?

[A]: Definitely the horse-size duck. One target is easier to defend against, haha!

Huge thanks to Gary72 for participating in our interview!
