The first Winterjól Dragon Rider, Björn, heads onto the battlefield this week! Björn (meaning ‘bear’) is a rough, yet disciplined viking of the Frigid Narrows with plenty of experience marching into combat. As he retires from his days on the front lines of conflict, Björn is ready to contribute his skills in defensive ways, increasing the strength of any Dragon Lord’s base structures and resource production.

Season Branch Information
Björn’s branch will include both his Rider Shards (needed to level up the Rider) and Rider Gear (for additive effects) in the branch. His Rider Shards will all be available in the first page of his Season branch, and his gear will all be available in the second half. Björn’s gear offered in his branch will be equivalent to Level 1 Epic Atlas Gear, which can be obtained through his Season branch by any player, and leveled up further in Atlas.
The shards within Björn’s branch will be the exact amount needed to get him to his max level of 50. The “Viking Raiment Set” can be worn by Björn (or any Dragon Rider) and will provide added effects to Ice Dragons such as Gunnar or Urd, Verd, and Skuld. While he can provide a defense boost to any perched Dragon without wearing his armor, Björn can only ride upon Ice Dragons when he wears the Viking Raiment Set.
Discount Information
The first page of Björn’s Season Branch will be discounted by 50% from Wednesday, December 19th to Tuesday, January 1st, 2019. The first page of Björn’s branch will include all of his Rider Shards (noted above), with gear on the second.
