To Arms, Dragon Lords! The Atlas Summerflare Season of Conquest Approaches!

Prepare for the unlocking of new land and a new season!

The Atlas Summerflare Season will be arriving Tuesday, July 31st! Teamwork will be especially important this season because Team Leaderboard Rank will be based on castle conquest and ownership instead of Team Glory earned. Glory will still be used to earn Atlas Badge Chests, however.

The Atlas season ends on October 9th. All prizes must be claimed by then, as Atlas Summerflare Badges will not be usable in future seasons!

MAP MAINTENANCE

There are three very important notes about the Atlas Map for the Atlas Summerflare Season:

  • Maintenance

Atlas will be temporarily disabled for map maintenance before we release the Atlas Summerflare Season, so please plan accordingly.

Neutral to NML Conversion

Neutral Regions in the expanded parts of the Atlas Map (highlighted in red below) will be converted to No Man’s Lands. These areas will be perpetual PvP areas, indicated in-game by a deep red color, where the castles cannot be owned, and anyone is open to attack at any time. Neutral Regions in the southern part of the map will remain unchanged.

  • Disabled Blockades

PvP castle Blockades will NOT function upon Season start to allow free movement throughout new regions. Blockades resume their delaying functions on August 2nd at 12:00AM PDT. Be sure to hire Castle Guards to any newly-acquired castles to defend them from attack, and look out for enemy Primarchs that could Lockdown your region’s Mines and Infrastructure!

PROGRESSION PRIZES

What item(s) do I use to claim prizes in the Atlas Summerflare Season?

In the Atlas Season, there will be Atlas Summerflare Badges for claiming Seasonal Progression Prizes. Please note that Atlas Springveil Badges can no longer be used.

Atlas Badges

What Season’s Progress Prizes are available for the Atlas Summerflare Season?

  • Elite Gear
Elite quality Helm and Ring are found around the middle and at the end of each elemental branch, respectively.

Elite gear can only be earned from Atlas Seasons, and has higher potential power level than crafted Legendary Gear.

A full set of Elite Gear will provide a 100% buff to Dragon Attack Power and Health or a 100% buff to Tower Attack Power and Health.

Like regular crafted gear, Seasons gear must still be leveled up to reach its full power.

Offensive Rider Gear will include 5 branches. Each branch will feature two pieces of Offensive Dragon Rider Gear of a particular element. One of the gear pieces can be upgraded to provide up to +20% Dragon HP (Helm), while the other is upgraded to grant up to +25% Dragon Attack (Ring).

Defensive Rider Gear will include 5 branches. Each branch will feature two pieces of Defensive Dragon Rider Gear that, when equipped on a Dragon, will buff your towers in the vicinity of the Perch. One of the gear pieces can be upgraded to provide up to +20% Tower HP (Helm), while the other is upgraded to grant up to +25% Tower Attack (Ring).

Primarch Stat Buffs can be unlocked to grant your Primarchs up to +25% Attack and Defense ratings until the end of the current Atlas Season. These apply across all the Primarch tiers for each class of Primarch.

Dragon Rider Swann, the Pirate Captain

Unlocked with Blue Dragon Rider Shards from seasonal branch.

Leveled-up with Red Dragon Rider Shards from seasonal branch and event prizing.

Swann will available for hire even after the Atlas Summerflare Season, and the Blue Rider Shards required will be available in future prizing.

CASTLE OWNERSHIP-BASED LEADERBOARD

Rounds and Scoring

  • The entire Atlas Summerflare Season will be made up of two-week rounds.

  • At the end of each two-week round, the Leaderboard will update with Victory Points earned by each team based on the top 20 most valuable castles they own at that time.

Victory Points

  • At the start of each two-week round, each castle will start with some Victory Points based on region/castle level.

Higher level castles are worth more Victory Points.

Every time that castle is conquered during the round, its current Victory Point value is reduced by 10% i.e. 100, 90, 81, 73, 66, 59, 53, etc.

Defending your castles from conquerors is the best way to earn the most Victory Points for castles you own at the end of each round.

Alternatively, seek out and conquer the castles of teams that threaten your team’s rank to reduce their Victory Point potential.

A castle’s Victory Point value will not recover until it resets to full at the start of each two-week round.

A castle’s Victory Point value is visible to all Atlas players (not hidden by Fog of War).

Example: Castle X, owned by Team A, is worth 50,000 VP at the beginning of Round 1. It is conquered by Team B, and then conquered back by Team A. Round 1 ends and Team A earns 40,500 VP for this castle. Once Round 2 begins, Castle X returns to being worth 50,000 VP.
